United Airlines Review
United Airlines is an official mobile app for regular clients of United Airlines, which is one of the largest airlines in the world. It offers a renewed interface for booking, scheduling, and reviewing personalized details of an upcoming journey. You can download United Airlines for iOS on App Store and Play Market for Android.
Functionality – 5/5
United Airlines latest version provides the entire set of features for booking tickets in the large worldwide network, scheduling them, and checking in without the need to print tickets. You can use it to show the boarding pass, check out trip details, and review flight options.
Design – 4.5/5
The current edition of the app presents a neat user interface that’s informative and accessible. All functions are split into 5 tabs so that you could switch between them in a tap. On the other side, the interface strongly lacks at least a few more color accents besides a couple of blue subtones.
Usability – 5/5
United Airlines app is intended to become your all-in-one travel assistant. It lets you book an unlimited number of private or corporate flights and receive real-time updates upon each of them. The app is always aware of your next trip and will keep you informed with notifications in advance.
When you enter the terminal, the app will help you to find all the needed locations immediately. Open the terminal navigator, enter the name of the facility you need, and go. When it’s time to board, you can open the boarding pass on your screen for scanning the QR-code. While in the air, you can stream TV-shows and movies loaded into United Airlines Private Screening network. And don’t forget to track your bags when you land, the button for that is right under the boarding pass.
Cross-platform use – 5/5
To install the United Airlines app, you a smartphone or tablet running Android 5.0, iOS 10.0, or any newer operating system versions. Our advice is to use the app only with WiFi or 4G on because you need constant updates of data to avoid missing messages about delays and other changes.
With the free United Airlines app, you get the full list of the web-version options plus the terminal navigator and notifications. To pay for the booked tickets, you can connect your credit card or payment services by Google, Amazon. Apple, or else.
The Bottom Line
United Airlines deserves to be labeled a must-have for every American who travel by air a lot. It’s one of the biggest airlines with loyal tariffs and mileage program, so you’re likely to use its services at least sometimes. The app saves a lot of time and nerves on booking, making your way through the airport, checking in, and picking up bags.
